Woensdag 18 april  genoten we enorm van het fabelachtig mooie concert van Petra Ruth Alexandry, piano en Rachel Mills, cello. Zij speelden: Bach: Suite 1 G maj. L. van Beethoven: Cello Sonata No 5 Op 102 No 2  en  R. Schumann: Fantasiestücke Op 12. Binnenkort zullen zij hun Masterexamen doen bij het Koninklijk Conservatorium.

PETRA RUTH ALEXANDRY, piano. Petra started her musical education when she was 8 years old in Jakarta, Indonesia and received lessons from Caroline Kurniawati, Maria Fenty Alexander, Vanda Tiodang and Levi Gunardi. In 2011 Petra decided to continue her musical study at Conservatorium van Amsterdam where she obtained her bachelor degree in June 2016. Currently she is studying in the classical piano master performance program at Koninklijk Conservatorium Den Haag under the guidance of a renowned Dutch pianist, David Kuyken. During her study she received master classes from Naum Grubert, Frank van de Laar, Frank Peters, Lilya Zilberstein, Richard Egarr, Ralph van Raat among others. She is also active in chamber music. Since 2016 she has been performing in a vocal-piano duo with soprano Ardelia Padma Sawitri and recently formed a duo with cellist Rachel Mills.

RACHEL MILLS, cello.  Rachel Mills is pursuing a master degree at the Royal Conservatory of The Hague where she studies with Jan Ype Nota and Michel Strauss.  A native of New York State, she received her bachelors from Oberlin Conservatory in Ohio under Amir Eldan.  While at Oberlin, Mills performed both as a soloist and with her quartet on multiple honors recitals and collaborated on recording projects with the Contemporary Music Ensemble, Oberlin Orchestra, and Sinfoniette.  She has frequently sat principal cellist in student ensembles, including the New York State All-State Orchestra and on the Oberlin Orchestra’s most recent tour to Chicago’s Symphony Center.  Mills has also participated in advanced and fellowship chamber music programs across the United States.  In addition to studies, Mills is passionate about finding ways to inspire young people to engage with classical music. In doing so, she thrice traveled to Panama to teach and perform in connection with the National Music Association there.

Hue Blanes is an Australian jazz pianist, composer, and singer-songwriter. He has played in
some of Australia’s most prestigious arts festivals, where he has displayed his incredible
versatility as a musician and singer. He is a winner of the 2017 PBS Young Elder of Jazz
commission that premiered at the 2017 Melbourne International Jazz Festival. He is
currently undertaking a Masters at the Koninklijk Conservatorium in The Hague,
Netherlands. Hue Blanes is signed to Pound Records, Australia.

Samuel Tirado begins his studies in Campo de Criptana (Spain) with Javier Estevarán and Haruko Tamaki as teachers. After this, he moves to Salamanca, where he starts a bacherlor degree with Patrin Garcia Barredo. He has participated in masterclass with teachers like Miguel Angel Ortega Chavaldas, Miriam Gomez Moran, Claudio Martinez Mehner, Ferenc Rados, Alberto Rosado, Edith Fischer, Kennedy Moretti y Galina Eguiazarova among others. He had performed as a chamber music member and soloist in places such as the national auditorium in Madrid, auditorium of Cuenca and theaters in Salamanca, Ciudad Real and Avila. He has also played in countries such as Holland, France and Austria. He is currently finishing his masters degree in the Royal conservatoire of The Hague with Naum Grubert.

David Bonilla began his piano studies at age 5 with Professor Irina Shirokij. He finishes with outstanding remarks the Professional Degree of the conservatory Amaniel and begins to study with Yuri Ananiev in the Superior Center Katarina Gurska. He is currently studying  a Master’s degree at the Royal Conservatory of The Hague under the tutelage of Ellen Corver. During these years he has received classes of masters such as Eldar Nebolsin, Claudio Martinez Mehner, Alexander Kandelaki, Nino Kereselidze, Marta Zabaleta, Kuzma Bodrov, Grigory Gruzman, Joaquín Achúcarro, Naum Grubert and Galina Eguizarova among others. He has acted in theaters such as the Ateneo de Madrid, Centro Cultural Nicolás Salmerón, Casino Militar de Madrid, the library hall of the Count Duque, the Auditorium of the Philharmonic of Samara (Russia), the Center Center hall in the Post Office of Madrid, and the Auditorium of the Escorial (Madrid). He has played with the State Philharmonic Orchestra of Samara under the baton of Mikhail Scherbakov.In 2012 he won the first prize in the international piano competition of Samara (Russia)

Gulmira Issabekova  was born in Astana, Kazakhstan where she started her general and musical education at age of 5.From  1998 till 2009 was studying  in music Academy of music in Astana,Kazakhstan. During her study participated and won several competitions (Moscow,Kiev ,Novosibirsk,Pavlodar,Versal,Antalya).At the age of of 11 debut with her 1 solo recital and the same year debut with the orchestra in Karaganda philharmony  with Beethoven 1 concerto. After graduating at the Academy of Music in Astana in 2008 she continued her studies in the Academic Music College “P.I . Tchaikovsky “ in Moscow. One year after she won a scholarship and was admitted to Moscow States Conservatory named “P.I.Tchaikovsky” where she studied solo piano and graduated in 2014 with honour.During her studies she performed in different concert halls :Bolshoi hall, Small philharmonic hall,Rachmaninov.Gave concerts in various cities of Russia and Kazakhstan (Astana,Karaganda,Alma type,Saint-Petersburg,Novosibirsk,Cheboksary) and was invited to participate and perform in  various festivals.“Canetti festival “ in Versal, “”Canetti festival “ in Turkey, Festival of chamber music in Saint-Petersburg ,(Moscow,Astana).She has a big experience in playing and collaboration with other musicians  (singers,string players,wind and brass players and dancers).Has a big piano  repertoire from Bach till Shostakovich. Recently participated at the Spring Music Festival in den haag were was performing piece of the modern composer.Attended several master -classes in France,Turkey,Italy,Sweden.In Italy in 2014 met professor Grubert and decided to continue her education in Royal Conservatory as a master student. At the presence she is a master student at the Royal Conservatory of Den Haag. Has a Master degree  of chamber music in Moscow State Conservatory. Winner of International and Republic competitions.

 

 

Julian Turiel was born in Alcala de Henares in 1992. He began his studies with eight years old at the local Conservatory with Marta Espinosa. In 2015 he completed with honors a Bachelor Degree  in Piano Performance and, a year later, another Bachelor Degree in Music Education, both at Oviedo Higher Conservatory of Music under the guidance  of Concepcion Fernandez Besteiro. Currently, he continues his master studies of piano and fortepiano at the Royal Conservatoire with David Kuyken and Petra Somlai. Julian took lessons and advice from teachers such as Claudio Martinez Menher, Mariana Gurkova, Nino Kereselidze, Miguel Ituarte, Vadim Gladkov, Marta Zabaleta, Josep Colom, Ivan Citera, Jose Ramon Mendez, Francisco Jaime Pantin, Klara Wurtz or Paul Komen. In 2011, Julian performed the Haydn Piano Concerto in D major with Alcala Conservatory’ s Orchestra. He has played in concert halls like The Music House in Mieres, the Philharmonic Theatre and The University Main Hall in Oviedo, the University Music Hall in Alcala de Henares and the Mint in Madrid.

Laura Balicov– 21.01.1997,
Republic of Moldova. 

Laura studied in Moldova in the Music Lyceum (professor-Larisa Jar) and after graduation she came to The Netherlands to continue her studies with the professor Naum Grubert. 
During her piano activity, Laura has played in many halls of Moldova, Russia, Poland, Romania solo and with orchestras and also won the competitions as Carl Czerny (Piatra-Neamt, Romania), Pro Piano (Bucharest, Romania), Frederic Chopin (Bacau, Romania), Orpheus (Targu Jiu, Romania), etc.
Laura has a lot of experience playing in ensembles , accompanying the singers, instrumentalists and have been participating at the competitions with them. For four years Laura was a pianist in the National Philharmonic Orchestra of Chisinau , Moldova. Winner of International and Republic competitions.

CD Claudio Jr de Rosa is uit!

Op 1 december vorig jaar traden bij ons in de showroom op Vivienne Chilao, piano  en Claudio Jr de Rosa, saxofoon. Velen zullen het zich nog wel herinneren – superjazz met supermusici. Claudio’s cd ‘Groovin’ up!’  is net uitgekomen. Naast Vivienne spelen ook mee: Kimon Karoutzos, contrabas en Augustas Baronas, drums.  

De cd  is bij ons voor een spotprijs te koop: € 12,00!

Spectaculair concert op 2 vleugels juni 2017

Sara Gutiérrez Redondo en Federico Mosquera Martínez zijn voor ons geen onbekende pianisten. Ze traden bij ons al eerder op in de serie: ‘Laat u verrassen door aanstaande professionals’. Maar het zijn allang geen conservatoriumstudenten meer. We waren er dan ook trots op dit geweldige pianoduo weer te mogen ontvangen! Uiteraard stelden we in onze mooie showroom de mooiste vleugels voor hun op en hebben wij kunnen genieten van adembenemende uitvoeringen van o.a. F. Poulenc, J. Brahms en A. Dvorak.

THE DUO
The Piano Duo Gutiérrez-Mosquera is comprised of Federico Mosquera (A Coruña) and Sara Gutiérrez (Valladolid). In spite of their recent creation the Duo has already shown great artistic mastery. They have performed at major festivals, such as Chamber Music Festival in Den Haag (2013), Gergiev Festival 2013, Piano Duo Festival in Amsterdam (2014), and at many of the most important halls of The Netherlands: Grote zaal and Jurriaanse zaal of De Doelen (Rotterdam), Schönbergzaal (Den Haag), Bethaniënklooster (Amsterdam), Waalse Kerk (Breda) and other halls in Rotterdam, Den Haag, Tilburg and Gouda. They have also performed in A Coruña, Spain, at MAC Museum and at the main hall of the University of A Coruña.
The Duo was raised in the frame of the prestigious conservatory of Rotterdam, Codarts-University for the Arts. They have received lessons and advices from such important musicians as Matti Raekallio, Bart van de Roer, Jan Dobrzelewski, Jean Bernard Pommier, Stephane de May and piano duo Scholtes&Janssens.
They have performed the Concerto for two pianos by F. Poulenc with Codarts Symphony Orchestra under the baton of Hans Leenders in the Grote zaal of De Doelen – Rotterdam achieving a big success.

Sara Gutiérrez Redondo studied piano in the Conservatory of her hometown, Valladolid, and she obtained the Bachelor Degree in 2009 at “Centro Superior de Música del País Vasco – Musikene”, in the class of Marta Zabaleta and Miguel Borges, specialising in chamber music with Josep Colom. In June 2013 she obtained the Master Diploma with higher grades under the guidance of Stephane de May in Codarts – Hogeschool voor de kunsten. Afterwards she continued developing her career working with Professor Matti Raekallio in Hannover (Germany).
She has been awarded with several prizes in Piano and Chamber Music competitions. She has also received the support of the Fundación Municipal de Cultura of Valladolid, the program “Excellent Youth” of Caja de Burgos and the Govern of The Netherlands.
Sara has performed at many important venues and festivals in Spain, The Netherlands, Belgium, Switzerland, Austria, France, Portugal and Czech Republic. Her solo debut took place with Codarts Orchestra under the baton of Hans Leenders in De Doelen – Rotterdam and Middelburg. She has also performed B. Bartok’s Concerto for piano and orchestra n.1 with JOUVA orchestra under the baton of Francisco Lara in Valladolid.
She currently combines her concert activity with teaching in Rotterdam.

Federico Mosquera Martínez began his musical studies at the age of nine. In 2010 he finished the bachelor in piano with the highest grades at the Superior Conservatory of his hometown. He was studying at the Akademia Muzyczna of Krakow (Poland) with Andrzej Pikul, in the frame of the Erasmus program. Moreover he had been studying piano with Mercedes Goicoa from 2000 and composition with Anton Garcia Abril between 2005 and 2011. He finished the Master Degree in piano at Codarts University of the Arts (Rotterdam) in June 2013, under the direction of Jean-Bernard Pommier and Jose Nuñez Ares, with a scholarship from the foundation Pedro Barrié de la Maza.
He has performed in concert halls such as Eutherpe hall (León, Spain), Casa da Música (Porto, Portugal), Zeeuwse Concerzaal (Middelburg) and Jurriaanse zaal of De Doelen (Rotterdam), among others, and participated in major festivals.
As a composer, we can highlight the premiere of his Concertino for String Orchestra (2010) with Galician Royal Philharmonic Orchestra conducted by Maximino Zumalave, Three Symphonic Movements (2012) premiered by the Galician Symphonic Orchestra conducted by Victor Pablo Pérez, and the Concerto for Bass Clarinet (2013) premiered by the young clarinetist Igor Urruchi.

Opnieuw RAQUEL GARZAS! mei 2017

Raquel Garzás Garzía-Pliego is een pianiste die bij ons al een paar keer heeft opgetreden. O.a. met het Camus Trio waar ze deel van uitmaakt. En er een heleboel fans bijgekregen. Wat een klasse! Over een paar weken doet ze haar Master-examen aan het Koninklijk Conservatorium en was op 31 mei j.l.  bij ons voor haar try-out. Zij speelde weer wonderbaarlijk mooi. O.a. ‘Sonata op.26 in E flat minor’ ( S. Barber); ‘Pohádka’ (L. Janacek) en ‘French Ouverture’  (J.S. Camus Trio adembenemend!

Het verbluffend mooie concert in september van Het Camus Trio vroeg gewoon om een ‘encore’.   Raquel Garzás García-Pliego, piano; Pau Marques i Oléo, cello en Luis Caballero Estremera, viool zorgden voor een prachtig programma met werken van A. Dvorak, A. Piazolla en D. Shostakovic. Er is altijd veel animo voor onze concerten. Vanwege de storm, meldden zich een aantal personen af, maar ook dit keer weer was het bijna ‘volle bak’!

Raquel Garzás was born in Spain in 1992. She began playing the piano at the age of seven. She has also received tuition from Galina Eguiazarova, Claudio Martínez Mehner, Nino Kereselidse, Galina Iwanzowa, Begoña Uriarte, Jose Mª Colom, Imre Rohmann or Tibor Szasz among others.
During her studies she has won many prizes in regional piano competitions such as two first prizes in piano and chamber music in the 7th edition of the regional
competition at the Conservatorio Profesional de Música in Puertollano (Ciudad-Real), second prize in the piano competition of “Diputación de Albacete” and highly commended for the best performance of Spanish music. In recent years she has performed as a soloist with several orchestras, one of the “Orfeón Donostiarra” in the National Auditorium of Madrid. She has played with the NJO Summer Academy for the last four years lead by Etienne Siebens, Antony Hermus, Jasper de Waal and Marc Krone. This included working with Steve Reich, the composer in residence in 2013, on a number of his works for a concert in his honor.

Huys Ten Donck in Ridderkerk – daar hebben wat mee. Sterker nog, heel veel! Zaterdag 14 jan. vond er een groot evenement plaats. Buiten ( Veel muziek -o.a. op een piano van ons), maar ook binnen zijn er allerlei rondleidingen. Zo was Rik Cox aanwezig zijn om te laten zien wat een grote revisie/restauratie van een vleugel inhoudt. De oude Bechstein vleugel is daar aan toe!
