CONCERT 7 april 2016

We hebben gisteren weer genoten van een bijzonder concert met 2 bijzondere pianisten! Zij hebben werken gespeeld van van o.a. W.A.Mozart, F. Chopin en R.Schumann. 

 

 

 

 

 

Simon Danell  was born 1989 in Helsingborg, Sweden.

When he was 15 years old, he began playing piano at the communal music school, with Mikael Kanarva as his teacher.
At the age of 19, he won his first national competition. At this time, he had started taking private lessons for Romuald Sztern, whose detailed approach to music was very valuable for future studies. He also begun studying with Eva Lundgren.
At 21, he traveled around in Europe, playing concerts and took lessons with several renowned teachers.
So at 22, he decided to study with Professor Naum Grubert, who anyone would be very lucky to have as teacher. He’s now doing his master studies at the Royal Conservatory of the Hague.
Simon has performed in several countries in Europe: Sweden, Denmark, Finland, Norway, Netherlands, Italy and Spain to name some.
He has been invited to masterclasses and festivals in Italy, Sweden, Croatia and the Netherlands.
He has also been lucky to be able to play for some of the greatest teachers in Europe: Ilja Scheps, Erik Tawastjerna, Hui-Ying Tawastjerna, Eugene Indjic, Jiri Hlinka, Romuald Sztern, Per Tengtrand, Dominuque Weber, Dimitri Bashkirov and Naum Grubert.

Jihee Min was born in SouJihee Minth Korea in 1990. She began to play the piano at her age of 7 in Yongin where she was born. Her talent was recognized in many national competitions from young age such as The Music Education News Competition(1st prize), DaeHan Music News Competition(1st prize) and Peongtek University Competition(3rd prize). She decided to find specialized education of classical piano for profound studying.
At the age of 13, she got accepted for SunHwa Arts School in Seoul. She studied with Professor Jiwon Park. She built up solid foundation of playing piano with professor Park. Her desire for learning was continued in SunHwa Arts High School. Professor Minja Sin helped her studying. She was trained as a young performer by having regular solo concerts every year during her academy of Arts school.
In 2010, she came to Netherlands to widen her perspective of music and learn music in hometown of classical music. She began to study at Royal Conservatory of The Hague with professor Naum Grubert. Her activities is not limited as only a solo pianist but also member of chamber music and accompanist.
Now, she is continuing her study of master in Royal Conservatory of The Hague with full scholarship. She is expanding her career as joining international competition. In 2015, she won the 3rd prize in 15th ROMA International Piano Competition.
